the reading class will be covering stories and articles of the strange, scary, creepy and weird variety for the month of october. and what better way to kick off this spook-fest than with the master of macabre, edgar allan poe. after a biographical introduction, we started reading the tell-tale heart and when the bell rang less than halfway through, students were throwing their arms up and yelling, "nooooo!" nothing makes a teacher's day more than seeing students engaged in learning.
